Before you begin

Set up your Expert Profile inside the MIRL app.

Download the MIRL app, then complete your Expert Profile setup from your profile. Once you are done, your MIRL Page can be shared anywhere online for instant or scheduled 1:1 calls.

Profile basics

Your profile starts with the basics.

Add the details people need to recognize you, trust you, and understand what kind of conversations they can have with you.

Use a clear, friendly identity people can remember.

Your unique ID becomes part of your public page link.

✓Email and optional phone
Your email is added at login, and your phone number is optional.

Expert mode

Then unlock “Become an Expert & Earn.”

Once you tap the expert setup option in your profile, you can build the page people will use to instantly request or schedule a 1:1 call with you.

Add your profile picture, name, MIRL ID, email, and optional phone number. Your MIRL ID becomes part of your page link, like mirl.com/bio/jessica.

Use a short, clear 140-character headline that tells people who you are and why they may want to talk to you.

Choose your price per 15 minutes. Seekers can book 15, 30, or 45-minute calls based on the options available.

Can I offer calls for free?

Absolutely. Just set your fee to $0 and your Expert Profile can still go live normally.

You do not need to complete payout setup for free calls, though “Earnings & Payout Settings” may not show a purple checkmark.

Why is “Earnings & Payout Settings” not checked?

If you plan to charge for calls on MIRL, you’ll need to complete your Stripe payout setup first.

If you only offer free calls, your Expert Profile can still stay active without it.

Does MIRL see my bank details?

No. Payout setup is handled securely through Stripe. MIRL does not see or store your banking information.

What should I write in my headline?

Keep it short and useful. For example: “Helping couples communicate better,” “Fitness advice without extreme dieting,” or “Career advice for creators and freelancers.”

Why can’t I find my own profile in Explore?

That’s intentional. MIRL does not show you your own profile in Explore so you don’t accidentally book yourself.

Want to preview your profile? Just tap your profile icon anytime to view your MIRL Page the same way others see it.

Should I use recurring or non-recurring availability?

Recurring availability is easier if your weekly hours are mostly the same. Non-recurring availability works better if your schedule changes often.

What happens when Instant Calls are off?

People can still schedule calls with you in advance. Instant Calls only controls whether seekers can request a call in real time.

Where do I get expert setup help?

Tap “Expert Setup Assistance” inside the app, or go to My Profile → Help & Support if you get stuck anywhere.
