Download MIRL and create your account. Once you’re in, you can browse experts in the app, or open any expert’s MIRL Page link from wherever they share it online.

Open a MIRL Page
Click an expert’s MIRL Page link from their bio, website, email, or social profile to book them directly.
Request an instant call
Send a quick request when an expert is available. If they accept within 2 minutes, you can pay and start the call.
Schedule for later
Pick a date and time, confirm your appointment with payment, and the expert is notified right away.

How to use MIRL without getting lost.
Here’s the simple flow, from creating your account to finding experts, booking calls, and staying connected with people you like.

Create your account
Sign up with your email address. Once you’re in, you’ll land on the MIRL home screen.

Find an expert
You can browse experts inside the MIRL app, or open an expert’s MIRL Page link from their Instagram bio, website, email, or anywhere else they share it.
- In the app, filter by category, availability, fees, or location.
- On a MIRL Page, choose instant call or scheduled call directly.
- Open expert profiles to read more before booking.

Choose instant or scheduled
Choose an instant call when you want help now, or schedule a call when you’d rather pick a date and time that works for you.

Use Multiple Connect when you want options
If you’re not sure who to choose, use the Multiple Connect button on the MIRL app home screen. It lets you reach out to multiple available experts at once, then choose who you want to speak with from the interested responses.

Review and stay connected
After a completed call, leave a thoughtful review to help other Seekers. You can also follow experts you like and invite friends through MIRL Connect.

Boost Sparks you like
Boosting is free. It’s a simple way to support helpful Sparks and encourage experts to share more useful advice.
Instant calls: request first, pay after acceptance.
Send a call request to an available expert. They have up to 2 minutes to accept, decline, or let it time out.
If they accept, you’ll get an instant notification. You can then make the payment and start the call right away.
Scheduled calls: choose a time and confirm.
Choose a date and time from the expert’s MIRL profile or MIRL Page, then confirm the appointment with payment.
Once it’s booked, the expert is notified right away. If the expert cancels, misses the appointment, or is unavailable for the call, you’ll receive a full refund.

Quick answers before you book.
These are the small details people usually want to know before using MIRL as a Seeker.
Do I pay before an instant call?
No. For instant calls, the expert gets your request first. They have up to 2 minutes to accept it. You only make the payment after the expert accepts, and then the call can start right away.
What if the expert declines or does not respond?
If the expert declines your instant call request or it times out, no payment is taken. You can try another expert, use Multiple Connect, or schedule a call for later.
How do scheduled calls work?
Open an expert’s profile in the MIRL app or visit their MIRL Page, choose a date and time, and confirm the appointment by making the payment. The expert is notified immediately.
What if an expert cannot take my scheduled call?
If the expert cancels the scheduled call, misses the appointment, or is unavailable for the call, you’ll receive a full refund. You can then reschedule or choose another expert anytime.
What if I cancel a scheduled call?
If you cancel before the scheduled time, you’ll receive a refund. Payment processing fees may not be refundable when the cancellation is made from your side.
What happens if I miss a scheduled call?
If you’re unable to make the scheduled call, we recommend cancelling or rescheduling in advance whenever possible. Missed scheduled calls without cancellation may not be eligible for a refund.
What if the call fails or the quality is bad?
Tap “Issues with the call?” right after the call ends, or go to Help & Support inside the app and message us from the Seeker Help Center.
Can experts message me outside a call?
No. MIRL is designed around real scheduled or instant conversations instead of endless DMs. You stay in control of who you speak with and when.
Can I Boost Sparks without booking a call?
Yes. Boosting is free and helps experts shine. Only the expert who posted the Spark can see who boosted it, so it stays private from everyone else.
Can I review an expert after a call?
Yes. After a completed consultation, you’ll be prompted to leave a review. A thoughtful review helps other Seekers choose the right expert.
Do I have to activate MIRL Connect?
No, it’s optional. But activating MIRL Connect lets you invite friends and earn 5% of their expert earnings for 5 years, at no cost to them.

You can email us anytime at help@mirl.com. Or open My Profile inside the MIRL app, go to Help & Support, and send us a message from the Seeker Help Center. Our support team will get back to you as soon as possible.
